A demat account is like a bank account. To open such an account, one can go to the company which has got permission from the Securities and Exchange Board for Depository Participant (DP) service. The demat account has been fully operational since Magh, 2, 2072. At present, shares are transferred in dematerialized form directly to the demat account. - PP Sized Photo
- Citizenship Certificate along with three generations of details.
- PAN Card (Optional)
- Birth Certificate (In the case of a minor)
* The guardian should submit a photograph of the minor, a photocopy of the birth certificate and a photocopy of the guardian’s citizenship.
