Recruitment in the temporary police is open for the local level election to be held on April 12. Nepal Police has opened recruitment for one lakh temporary police personnel. Nepali citizens should not be found guilty of criminal charges, should not have political party cadres, should be physically and mentally healthy, and should be able to read and write. Preference will be given to those who have passed the physical fitness and health examination retired from the army and police, retired from foreign security agencies, and have done satisfactory work in the past by being selected in the temporary police force.

The final result will be published on April 7 and the service period will be 40 days. The term police will get a salary of Rs 30,240, Rs 7,200 for food, and Rs 6,000 for clothes. Before going to the field, they will get Rs 1,000 as travel expenses and the government will insure them.
