Initially, NIC Asia Bank Ltd. launched “NIC Asia Online Savings Account” as per the demand and desire of its customers. Since then, Sunrise Bank Limited and Global IME Bank have also provided this facility. But now most of the banks and financial institutions have provided the facility of opening an account through online.

Initially, this facility was provided to Nepalis living abroad, but now it is being used to the maximum by Nepalis living in Nepal. This account can be opened with zero balance and the customer can open the account without being present in the bank and get the account number and deposit money online.
